Supermarket burley
G'day,
Does anyone know what i can buy from the supermarket, apart from dog or cat food, that i can buy and just chuck it straight out as burley for bream, without having to mix anything?

Re: Supermarket burley
Punch a heap of large holes in a can of cat food preferably mixed fish and tie off with heavy mono 60lb ? and throw it out, at the end of your session wind the can or cans in and put in the bin or take it home for the garbage, we should only leave foot prints behind and not spoil what we have.

Re: Supermarket burley
The local servo should have burley pallets in a bag, just chuck them out and ready to go, or use the cat food can with holes in itFlattydog3M wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 8:51 pm

Re: Supermarket burley
We're carrying bags of chicken pellets. Use a tiny bit of tuna oil and mix with water until they become a paste.

Re: Supermarket burley
Depends what fish and where to fish, Coles/Woolies breadcrumbs with a bit of tuna oil and water works for me for shallow slow current water.

I agree Sebb, when trying to raise live baits I used breadcrumbs, tuna oil and some mashed/chopped up pillies. That stuff attracted all sorts of fish
