Re: Tuna Reports
I think that was Jason from Magnet. Most others have been scoring zero. spoke to a bloke who must have been to the boat show as a he had a brand new cat, with radar and twin 115's on the back. There were 6 people on the boat and he said he went from Cape Bridgewater to the Horse shoe and didn't see a tuna.ChrisAbout wrote:I have a RDO on thursday and thinking to head offshore @ portland for a fish. have you guys heard any recent reports?

Most others have been drawing a blank. I went out today and headed to 100 metres except it got a little sloppy and I headed to Cape Nelson light house. Sadly I drew a blank again, even took banana hoping it would change my luck.
From reports the fish are further out at the shelf. Hunt managed to bag out the other day with his customers, and from what i heard he found two patches of fish.
It looks like Port Fairy in about 80 metres might be the go.
I am packing up tomorrow and heading to Lakes Entrance on Saturday
