Re: Docklands
Sounds like a plan Steve however like fishnut suggested I think that’s the closest one and I have been down that stretch before just not all the way, but launched at St Kilda and drove all the way around. Long stretch at low speed.

i had a doubt warmies would be the go, thanks lads.
doesnt look too far a distance to drive, but it will be painfull driving so slow even that much of a distance.

Yes, I think I saw you guys sounds exciting!! Should go there this weekend to try again!!greggo wrote:We had a good day there, caught plenty of Pinks. If you saw the Yaks (only 2), that's where the fish were. There were a few landbased guys there catching some good fish.FishingRookie wrote:Yes I think I might have seen you saw a few yaks. Did you catch anything last Saturday?greggo wrote:Keep at it mate, they're still there. Where were you trying?FishingRookie wrote:Went there on Saturday morning for 2 hours session... didn't get a bite
You would have seen me there on my Yak.

Re: Docklands
Lil update on Docklands.
Fished docklands last night. Arrived at 7pm and left at midnight. High tides was at 11:15pm and unfortunately only caught one fish. (30cm Pinkie at 9:30pm) Not much happening atm. Pretty overcast night tho so that could of been a major factor.
1st rod: 8lb braid to 10lb mono lead with motor oil or Shimmer white curly soft plastic lure.
2nd rod: 10lb mono to snapper rig with bait (Chicken & Squid) <- Setup that caught the fish
