Re: Seeking that work-life balance
I have been a touch busy with work lately but just a quick update on the results from my urban pursuits.
Perseverance paid off finally for me, I got myself a good sized Golden out of Albert Park Lake. It has taken a certain amount of time , predominantly observing fish movements at different times of the day and I seem to have figured them out to some extent.
I had this cracking golden on Saturday. Definitely a picture for the wall.
I also caught an EP out of the lake on an evening session not too long ago. 28 cm and chunky. Well conditioned fish.
Understandably , I'm all smiles
There has been a decent amount of effort that has gone into getting some consistent results now .

There is always more to learn , fish to catch , places to see and friends to make.

Great catch mate!
Thats a long running project by fisheries , buddy.
The yellas in there are old and smart fish .
The trout are relative noobs, the EP seem to be all about timing.
There is always more to learn , fish to catch , places to see and friends to make.

Re: Seeking that work-life balance
it's been getting Yellas stocked into it recently again so you should start to see different size classes of fish. from what i hear, the rainbows get stocked at catchable size every year as they die off once the water warms.
So far i've only gotten the rainbows out of there. yet to crack any of the other species
