Hitting up the surf coast
Bit of a late report from the long weekend. With the weather forecast looking good for the long weekend and Saturday looking like the pick of the bunch I decided to hit the surf coast for surf fishing action. This was my first surf fishing adventure for a few months as I have been busy with work and...

Arrived Tuesday afternoon, it was a beautiful 18° The Murray was running low and hard. I did not have sinkers, large enough, to keep the bait on the bottom On Wednesday awoke to rain and 14° max, 4° difference doesn't sound much, but, it felt like 10°. Headed to the Broken River and Barmah Lakes. Bo...

Re: Strike Tiger sp problems
Is it just other soft plastics brands the zman plastics have issues with? Are they good to be used as trailers on a spinnerbait or chatterbait, be stored for a few months and not melt the SP skirts? I'm not sure but i read a post on a different forum by a ZMan representative saying to not put them ...

I did a little googling and couldn't find any reported issues regarding spinnerbait skirts, so still interested to hear if anyone has first hand experienced issues (or no issues) with storage of skirts and zmans.

End of season trout fishing on the Eucumbene
As the saying goes.. Better late than never! I spent the weekend with the old man walking the banks of the Eucumbene river before the season close. They had a bit of rain the week before which produced some good fishing but by the time we got up there the river had dropped 300-500mm which made the f...

EP's In The Swamp
It was bitter cold today in the estuary and the surf beaches were way to rough so I decided to explore the coastal swamps. Recent rains had flooded the swamps, which just a few short months ago had very little water in them. It wasn't easy going. The reeds in places were 10 foot tall and you could n...

Re: Stump-jumper Flipper - Bibs
Bump - after just the bib, bit of googling hasn't provided results for bib only (but a few sellers of the lure w/bib). Thought given stumperjumper bibs are interchangable - you could maybe pick up a pack of them to retrofit to existing stumpys. ....... There was some discussion about obtaining the ...
