Surprised at how "dead" this forum is.

Post by beefy » Thu Mar 03, 2022 8:18 am

I joined this forum a few weeks ago because of it's focus on Victoria.

However, I've noticed there's very few new posts, which is very surprising given how popular fishing is. It's also surprising because so far I haven't came across any assholes, and anyone who I've seen responding has been nothing but polite and helpful.

Was the forum ever "alive" and does anyone know why it went so quiet.

Things started going downhill once SnapperHead became a moderator....the site became more censored than a Chinese tennis player once he came along.

The days of forums are dead.... There is so much information out there on Youtube and other platforms that you really don't need to ask to many questions here anymore.

Yeah, used to be a lot more stuff going on.
A bit quieter in winter, but summer usually pretty good.
I'm personally haven't been fishing as much since covid, lockdown, etc.
You'll still get some responses here, and mostly be much better quality responses than Facebook groups.

Can't believe I completely overlooked the last 2 years of Covid and how we couldn't even fish on the beach. Yeah that might have dampened things down a bit.

Plenty of people looking. If you ask a question, you will get an answer. 4-30 in the afternoon on a Thursday 206 people online
There's nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . half so much worth doing as simply messing around in boats.
