Black Rock 3/12
Fished for squid from black rock pier from around 6:30 pm to 9 pm, missing the high tide and fishing the outgoing...
No luck today... did see one squid swim passed until someone jumped in the water and scared it off, big salmon was also seen swimming past the pier.
So definitely fish out there, just didn't seem very active... Did feel like I got a hit at one point, but was just the wrong time.
Going to head down to Mornington tomorrow and catch the high tide, hopefully get a couple of squid in that time.

I’ve bagged plenty of nice squid from the Mt M area. Haven’t tried for awhile though. If you have the time and free, why not give it a crack mate?wishtofish wrote: ↑Fri Dec 04, 2020 8:16 amMight give it a crack some time, I've caught some snapper around the half moon bay beach area as well...Lightningx wrote: ↑Fri Dec 04, 2020 7:21 amYou gave it a crack mate.

Re: Black Rock 3/12
Thanks for the report haven't been there for ages.
Yeah generally there's always a squid or two willing to take the squid jig at My Martha.
Considering how many people at Mornington pier, it still produces squid.
