No, was on braid. Just spat the lure or poor hookup, not sure. From memory, there was a bit of weed, trash in the water and as it came past the pier and headed back out, it brushed up against something and gone ... about 10m away *sigh*
Hooked up again a few minutes later but that was definitely a foul hook, on the fish's back, saw it clear as day as the school went screaming past the pier, but that popped off and then they moved out of casting distance. Was incredible and demoralizing all at the same time
