Have previously been critical of PW and staff member David for taking advantage of their positions to profit and fish prior to public access at the short lived Barra pond.

Nonetheless TW Cranbourne has been an iconic Victorian store for many years and has started career’s in fishing for quite a few people. Personally I prefer to shop at Complete Angler stores as I have found the staff make more of an effort to converse and there’s more a community feel.

At heart away from the screen PW is still a passionate angler I wish him all the best at whatever is next for him and his family.

Nothing on their ASX announcements, although maybe buying a couple of tackle shops isn't big enough to be price sensitive.

They've already got BCF stores pretty close to both tacklewords too don't they?

No one bought the stores nor the tackleworld buying group, especially BCF.

BUT, Paul had to bury all ties to Tackleworld and his shops hence closing down, as the open secret is he is taking up a media/marketing role with Super Retail Group to become the public face of BCF.

Kramer will probably hang around somewhere somehow like a bad smell.....

I’m sure that’s going to make him super popular with the rest of the tackleworld buyers group and independent retailers generally

You speak as if he already was popular. A couple of them very nearly belted him at a trade show a few years ago. Ever wonder why neither store ever had a sale with ridiculous low prices on big ticket items these past 4-5 years compared to what they used to? That incident, and a major supplier threatening to pull all their products for devaluing the brand stopped those sales happening. I'm sure everyone who owns a Tackleworld branded store celebrated
