He also has fishing comps, monthly giveaways, kayak get togethers and tutorials. This weeks episode is on GPS marks, most of which are his own or other members.rb85 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 08, 2022 12:32 pmI am Yepi and will withdraw my support immediately if he has a subscription based site flogging off marks.

Re: FishingMad
Youtube isn't monetising fishing, it's all the gullable fishos out there being sucked in by shinny new things marketing. Most people I know have 2 combos for each day of the week, lol.

Re: FishingMad
I like his videos. Sure they have some product placement feeling parts, but overall its solid relevant content for fishos and newbie fishos in Melbourne which is useful.

Re: FishingMad
All the community stuff sounds good. As for GPS marks better to teach people how to find their own…Seniorfisho wrote: ↑Tue Feb 08, 2022 1:53 pmHe also has fishing comps, monthly giveaways, kayak get togethers and tutorials. Re: FishingMad
What this shows is there’s plenty of sheep. Yes pro anglers network but not to this scale.

Re: FishingMad
I know alan and have fished with him, I am not a member of his group because I don't do much salt water fishing any more. I have enough of my own spots for the salt. He has one and 12 month membership. He doesn't sell GPS marks on every episode, actually, this is probably the only video he will do on it. Many of those marks are landbased. Alan has a few sponsers which he doesn't overly plug and he will tell you if a product he uses is good or bad. Instead of trying to belittle the guy, why not look at it in a positive way and that he is getting people and kids into fishing. Not everyone is a TBF

Re: FishingMad
I’m sorry but I’m not critiquing the bloke just responding to bowl re if it’s normalised paying for gps coordinate’s there’s a lot of sheep. I’m all for teaching not spoon feeding.

I’d love a world where everyone is part of the team.Seniorfisho wrote: ↑Tue Feb 08, 2022 6:26 pmI know alan and have fished with him, I am not a member of his group because I don't do much salt water fishing any more.
