Sadly Wayne Wright has passed -

Words written below are by 'Wayne's Family' -

It’s with a heavy heart that we share that our amazing dad, Wayne Wright, passed away peacefully on the (5th of April 2023) surrounded by family.

As some of you know, Dad battled an aggressive GBM brain tumor for the last 18 months. He put up the strongest of fights to spend as much time with us as he could, but unfortunately there is no cure.

Dad spent his life looking after his customers with his abundance of knowledge and sharing his love for fishing with all. He enjoyed every moment he spent running Southern Sportfishing. We thank all of you for the constant support you showed our business throughout the years.

Please keep him in your hearts whenever you are out on the water 🌊🎣

Went in there every day after school as a kid. Must've been a pain in the ass but wayne always indulged my yapping. May he rest in peace.
