10' TiCA Graphite Extremes are popular for throwing Slugs of the beach.

Popular, maybe. but are they any good? I mean if I was sponsored by said company of course I'd recommend their product.
Exactly and I am no fan of pac bay guides I've not had a good experience with them at all

I previously had a Samaki Zing 9ft and that was an excellent rod until the bottom half started to splinter. Mind you, I had a cracker of a season on the Salmon and I had bought it second hand.

Currently have a Major Craft 9'6 Skyroad which I've yet to use.

How much do you want to spend?

The sienna combo is excellent value. Anything 9 foot, fairly stiff casting around 50g will do.

I have a 903 Assassin Amia Zero which is one of the nicest rods i've ever used. A whole heap of us were using the old Coastal revolution as well.
I'm after just a rod, I have plenty of reels. Budget around $200 ish.
Buy a T-curve coastal 902 6-10kg.

Edit:- They're not called that anymore. The speedmaster is the new version. You want the top one in the table. Retail $149

Yes, I am involved with Company and thats one reason I put those details on my Signature so people know of my association.
I am the National Sales Manager for the Company and can only be lead by the Sales of this product and what most Retailers are selling it for. In 9 out of 10 cases it is being sold for the exact reason of throwing Slugs off the beach and Yes I do believe that they are good. I'm not one for getting on here and shoving product down people's throats on every post and occasionly will offer advice if I believe it is something that would suit what someone is looking for. Most anglers that would look at one in a store Im sure would be happy with the product to use for throwing Slugs of the beach.

I hope it's similar to the Tcurves it seems to have replaced. That Tcurve coastal was one of the best value for money buys i ever made. Had I not picked up this assassin dead cheap and needed a 3 piece i'd still be casting it.

If you prefer long butt rods, use Penn Allegiance II, 902. This rod is excellent value for money. I use it. Perfect rod for up to 60g lures. You can find it for $109 even with free delivery.
