So, looks like were heading for another Lockdown, will it happen ?
if so will it be hot spot suburbs locked down, or the whole of victoria again?
and will fishing be banned again?
get out there and do your fishing trips now before its too late. we have some cracking weather to boot, so take advantage of that as well...
people have been panick buying already with toilet paper shortages in the western suburbs supermarkets.

Suburb based will be a nightmare to coordinate/manage - potentially easier (aka less of a nightmare) to have city and regional based lockdowns so regional businesses have less risk of going belly up this year.

Regardless, there will be a few upset and non compliant people that will drag out the recovery curve

Hotspot suburbs lockdown

Post by Sebb » Tue Jun 30, 2020 3:56 pm

Out on the news not long ago. Stage 3 lockdown for hotspot suburbs. Stay safe everyone.

https://www.news.com.au/world/coronavir ... f3d41c3ec0

The areas subject to the reinstated lockdown are:

Postcode 3012: Brooklyn, Kingville, Maidstone, Tottenham, West Footscray.
Postcode 3021: Alban Vale, Kealba, Kings Park, St Albans.
Postcode 3032: Ascot Vale, High Point City, Maribyrnong, Travancore.
Postcode 3038: Keilor Downs, Keilor Lodge, Taylors Lakes, Watergardens.
Postcode 3042: Airport West, Keilor Park, Niddrie.
Postcode 3046: Glenroy, Hadfield, Oak Park.
Postcode 3047: Broadmeadows, Dallas, Jacana.
Postcode 3055: Brunswick South, Brunswick West, Moonee Vale, Moreland West.
Postcode 3060: Fawkner.
Postcode 3064: Craigieburn, Donnybrook, Mickleham, Roxburgh Park and Kalkallo.
Everyone living in any of these 10 postcodes must obey the stage 3 stay-at-home orders or face on-the-spot fines. Andrews says police will be actively patrolling those areas.

There are plenty of people on this forum that are in the zones of doom. Including me.
The fish in the Maribyrnong will be celebrating tonight.
