Thanks for the report. Was so close to head there but didn't. Went to spit and no whiting either.
How's the water there? Crystal clear?

I thought I saw the boats moving around quite a bit over the weekend, sounds like they've moved on!
Water has been crystal clear off St Leonards, plenty of gars around.

Last time I started with long leader and couldnt get them to hook up , switched to super short double parternosta and bang hooking up.KgWhiting wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2020 9:06 pmAlways fish long leaders down st Leonard’s metre or so must with the tidal flow spin will just spin. I fished Lenny's with a friend on Saturday. Beautiful conditions, we bagged out on average sized squid within 2 hours but the whiting seemed to be impossible. We tried for a couple of hours just on the ebb tide and let me tell you we didn't have a bite let alone a whiting! Fresh caught bait, different rigs, changed spots nothing helped.
