Re: Your Bucket List!
Be lovely to travel the world chasing fish but haven’t teased myself by writing a list. In terms of Vic here’s my rough standing list. Because I’m a masochist even if I ticked them all off of just work on a new list lol
20lb snapper. Best is 18lb
50cm quaddie. Bream, Bass, EP and Redfin. Ticked off Bass and Redfin so far.
Large kingfish off topwater on the cast
Mako shark
120cm mulloway. Best was mid 90’s
Metery cod
70cm trout. Best is low 60’s
Barrel tuna.
Tuna on the cast out of the formula.

Ridiculous. About the only fishing I’ve been dreaming about recently.

Haha, same here. I haven't seen a start to the jewie season like this for about 10-12 years.

Re: Your Bucket List!
That Lord Howe Island episode was great. But it reminds me of another place i should add to my list.purple5ive wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2020 3:34 pmThats exactly why i want to go and take the kids with me.
all thanks to Paul worsteling..
There is an episode of iFish where they are in Vanuatu, fishing out of an island that was once a volcano but one side of it gave way to the sea to create a sort of horse shoe shaped island. That place looked unbelievable, ive found it on Google Earth (north of the main island), its called Ureparapara.
I was meant to go back to Vanuatu early next year on a cruise, but that isnt happening now.
Ive been there before, but that was close to 40 years ago.
The only thing better than serenity is a two stroke at full throttle!

Big bastard Jew would be good, but don't have the patience or near enough time to wholeheartedly do it.
