Well they are lifting some of the Restrictions Next Friday :bn:

Pity it's in Queensland :dn:

Coronavirus restrictions will ease in Queensland from next Friday, the Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says.

"Because we have done such a terrific job of flattening the curve, after discussions with the Chief Health Officer, from next Friday we will be able to lift some of the stay-at-home restrictions," Ms Palaszczuk said.

"From midnight on Friday, you will be able to go for a drive," she said, adding that people must remain within 50 kilometres of their home.

The state has recorded three new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, bringing its total number of cases to 1,030.

"Just 98 of those cases are active," the Health Minister Steven Miles said.

Some of the other changes include allowing families to go on picnics together if they are members of the same household.

Single people will be able to go with one other person.

Shopping for non-essential items like clothes and shoes will also be permitted.

The changes will kick in from midnight on Friday.
Funnily enough, at the 22nd we only had 78 active cases and highly doubtful that figure has risen exponentially in the past 4 days....
As of 22 April 2020, there are 1,336 confirmed coronavirus cases in Victoria with no new cases overnight. More than 90,000 tests have been conducted, 1,243 have recovered and there have been 15 deaths in Victoria.

Daniel the commie state leader. This guy is a joke and so are the lot of you who voted for him. :te:
Yeah. A joke is talking about your 'tough on crime' policy in the cafe of your mate who's a convicted drug dealer and still using said cafe as a front for laundering money.

Can you tell me why you think Andrews is a communist? Because I'm pretty sure you don't know what that word means.
I dont know what the word means? Dougie I was born and raised in a communist regime, I think I know a little more about it than you do.

You're comparing Daniel Andrews 'policy on crime' :rf:
Please explain to me how you believe the term communist refers to Daniel Andrews.

Well I have just downloaded and registered the tracing app. I hope enough people do it. it will give them a better chance of tracing outbreaks.
There's nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . half so much worth doing as simply messing around in boats.

That's that then.
Victoria will not bow to pressure by winding back its strict stay-at-home orders at least until May 11 when the current state of emergency ends, Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton has said.

May I ask which Communist regime you were brought up in Robbie 1950? Then we can compare it to Victoria

This is getting pretty hard now. Being stuck home with young kids is hard. Not being able to even go for a drive down the beach is extreme and not scientifically important in virus control. We'll probably lose more young people to suicide than we save in elderly or immune compromised people.

I don't see this being sustained much longer. I'm struggling and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
You are allowed to go to the beach for excercise provided it's not a big travel distance to get there.
Also another option with kids is to take them for a bike ride to the local park or cycling tracks. It defenitely makes a difference to the day.
Hopefully all be over soon..
My wife and I are both working from home whilst home schooling primary school kids. Not doing either very well to be honest...it’s certainly not sustainable over a long period of time
