Thanks to everyone for there tips. Unfortunately no whiting but had a heap of fun with the kids catching and releasing heaps of under size pinkies. Cheers to all.

Today I struggled around newhaven was plagued by pinkies as well managed one at 40cm was fun on a whiting rod.
