Time fished : 12:30pm-5pm
Weather : 13-18 degrees cloudy, west wind 15kmh and dropping
Barometer : 1017 steady
Moon : 1%
Lure : sebile 30mm vibe, ecogear sx40, Rapala jack deep, Stumpjumper 3.0
Saw a report of some caught yellowbelly on go fish nagambie facebook page, I commented and they said the yellowbelly on fire at the moment and told me to use small slim lure around 50mm.
So my mate and I packed the kayak and fished while wife was at work. Got there and no time til we got onto redfin action, mostly small though.
Saw a big fat carp on surface while casting. Also saw few fish jumped, maybe carp, didn't really jump like a trout. Threw a small lure in front of it, got ignored. Was finishing the last hour trolling sx40 and Stumpjumper, caught a nice 27cm redfin. Visited black caviar statue

This time I thought I didn't charge the battery and the sounder didn't work. Found out that it was on night mode (black background), and since it was couldy and glary i thought it was black screen as black (off). I didn't realise it was actually working til I got home. Another silly mistake on the new sounder.
