Interesting. Lemon juice seems to be the go.
Might give it a try next time!
Cheers
I quoted these posts from a "smelly hands" thread.
Lemon is an awesome fruit and has Magic properties , , , , well , , , , maybe, let's say , , , , some good properties. On that thread, it highlights how well lemon is great for cleaning smelly hands.
It can even be at a dinner and faced with a plate of Prawns to peel and scoff down. The lemon wedge is a great way to "after" rub the Prawn smell out of your fingers, without having to wash , , , , just a rub with the lemon then a wipe with a paper towel :a_goodjob:
But lemon is such a versatile product. (Although I use hand-cleaner to wash my hands) I do use lemon in many other ways too.
I have a Lemon Tree, so I do use them liberally. AND Eureka Lemon Trees are my choice. They fruit most of the year, if you manage it properly. And they are a nice sized juicy fleshy lemons.
* It is a great way to get fishy smells (and any other smells) out of Chopping boards, knives etc without using chemicals.
* Lemon is a great substitute for vinegar in food , , , , a squeeze of lemon instead of a splash of vinegar for Salads, steamed veggies.
* A great way of freshening up water containers that have, over time, got that stale plastic taste about them. Also a great way of making water that little more fresher/refreshing by a squeeze of lemon. Not enough to make it lemon flavour but more to just take the bland edge that water gets sometimes
There are many ways lemon has helped Man & Woman Kind.
All hail the Lemon
