hi all
I'm just seeing if anyone can recommend a land based spot near torridan.I've been going of the bank on the inlet and have got a couple little bream and yellow mullet but it has been very quite around there the last week.what would be the best rig I've been using running sinker rig.does anyone know if theres also any spots in berwick for redfin?
thanks

Re: torradin
just to add to this Cannons Creek there are a couple of Jetties - one at the bluff and there is a hole just north of this jetty where the channel bends
this area will get better as the water cools in the inlet
there is a jetty much further north of the bluff also worth a try
I use to fish these areas from time to time before getting a kayak it dies off over summer but cooler water brings on Mullet - and sometimes trevs or salmon and of cause toads all year round
Warnett has a couple of options the main jetty or the north jetty there are a couple of places opposite cannons creek where you can get down to the beach and fish there
there is also the old ski run again easy enough to beach fish there
hope that helps

Balnarring over winter they aren’t that uncommon over winter along there or Cat bay. We have pulled good whiting off the front of flinders west of the marine park all winter fish but off the front can be a bit yucky to anchor the kayak with some confused waves Swell chop and back chop from the rocks
