Persistence is the key Jim. If you aren't catching then move along to fresh water. It's no good fishing where fish aren't no matter how good the water looks. y best advice to anyone looking at getting into native fishing especially Cod would be to spend many days/evenings and moreso nights at the spot you like to fish. You can learn so much from listening and observing.Rod Bender wrote:A question for our surface cod gurus, when fishing with surface lures, do you change them over frequently if you are not having luck? Or do you think they are all much the same?eslop wrote:I have to admit, I'm right into surface lures now. Jackall Pompadour, Mantis Kingfishers in particular.
