Docklands Tailor frenzy
Last month i was told that tailors in docklands are heaps. then i went there with metal lures on rising tide. i fish until sunset. just before the sunset, all those tailor were hitting our lures. i used the yakamito angry bait with silver color and blue color. but other people are also catching with large stick bait and soft plastic following the stick bait. There were 9 people at that boat parking area near alumbra club in docklands and everyone was catching around 5 to 8 tailor per person. I managed to get 6. It was very fun and aggressive fishing when the tailor hit your lure and missed it, chased it again and then got hooked! bleed it straight away to make sure its fresh and cook it for dinner and preserve some of them for shark bait. i hope they are still there!

Good stuff mate, looks like a killer night too! That's on central pier yeah? Do you have to pay for parking? Every time I go there there's a big parking sign saying $20. Do you just drive straight thriugh?
Sorry for the 20 questions! Great catch

thanks mate. i never expected that i would ever use metal slugs at docklands. cause i usually come there for the bream using blades and crabs. But the guy from the fishing shop reported that many tailors are caught in the docks. so i gave it a shotBayrock wrote:Great stuff. Didn't know they were around this far south

Thanks mate! haha parking, i know its pain in the as*. but yeah, you must pay that parking fee at central pier. Its for 1 day parking until the following morning. if you want a better option you can take train and stop at southern cross station.nooga27 wrote:Good stuff mate, looks like a killer night too!
