Gomoku rods
Have seen and heard good things about these rods and looking into getting a few. I was told the colour of the rod determines what it is meant for but not exactly sure, can someone give me information on the weight ratings and the colours or anything else?
Cheers Aussie

Re: Gomoku rods
I've got the relatively new black one. It's a pe2-4 rated to 250grams. Simply put its a frigging beast. bought it for lighter kingy jigging.

Re: Gomoku rods
I haven't fished with one but i've handled them a few times at a tackle shop. Stunning piece of technology. Wish they made a 902.

Re: Gomoku rods
great for jigging deep water with lighter jigs, saves a lot of energy.
I've got a blue gomoku and an ecooda blackhawk (a bit cheaper) and i have to say that i prefer the blackwatch. The gomoku has all its strength in the butt and it bends really strange, whereas the blackhawk has more strength through the rod which i prefer. Each to their own but I'd suggest checking out both.
