Hi all i hear the garfish are biting around geelong does anyone know any specific places where they are being caught

Generally the best way to find out, is to visit the usual spots like piers etc, if you see garfish scales, then that means they are catching them.
If you don't see any scales, it might just mean, nobody is fishing for them at present. I have seem the garfish at night swimming up and down the pier and nobody was fishing for them.
If you don't know where the usual spots are, buy a copy of the Land based Fishing Guide to Port Phillip and Corio bays.
