put the yabbie nets in the dam the other day and when I pulled them in there were lots of small fish in it. as far as I can tell there are only 2 species of fish in the dam, and one of them is redfin!
my best guess is because the dam flooded all the fish got caught in it when the water went down. ill start putting some cat food in the dams sometimes so that the redfin have something to eat and grow faster. i don't know what the other species is, but i have a picture of the fish.
I will try and upload the pictures I took of them, but I'm still figuring it out
