Lake Bullen merri

Post by Seniorfisho » Tue Jan 19, 2021 12:15 pm

I took a day trip down to Bullen merri yesreday and found the fishing really hard. After hours of bait fishing with Powerbait i managed to catch 5 little chinooks. I cast so many lures without luck and then one last effort, I put on the duo Realis and bang, a huge rainbow. It could be a chinook, not sure

Nice fish mate, I’m pretty sure that’s a chinook.

Geez you are getting around atm! And catching as well - good work!

I've fished bullen merri once in the kayak only - was sort of stumped how to fish it once I saw how deep and structureless it is
