Went out this morning and got another 40 or so yabbies Gra, so we should have over 80 now :tu:

Pork spare ribs seem to work ;-) cheers davo
That's what I love about fishing, Dave, you caught them but they are "we" Yabbies (meaning Dave and Gra) , nice to see the mateship :tu:

I can see now, those new Yabbies Traps not only work, but don't trap other species in them.

And on the spare ribs seem to work, well, they work pretty well on Bugatti's too :-D

Cheers, Bugs

It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Had wishful intentions to join for Saturday, but this week was packed with returning from a holiday + returning to work stuff - so yada, yada, yada, wrecked, weekends already packed with catch-up stuff - can't make it.

Cold, Wet, Windy and Miserable. 2 fish caught, both being carp.
We tried to take the boat out, however that wasn't much of a success :rf:
We also tried fishing from the bank, also ended up frozen. So we pretty much conceded defeat and went back to sit at the shelter out of the wind and rain, drink copious amounts of alcohol talk lots of crap and burn lots of wood.

Was still a good time, considering the elements were against us. Though we may look at other locations next yr, if the water level doesn't rise considerably :dn:
