Checked it out on Monday. A surfboard would have been handy.

I was there with my boys last Thursday and Friday. We spent time trolling and fishing bait, both landbased and from the boat. Only the one small chinook (released) but my eldest spent an hour just before dusk spinning landbased on the southeastern side towards Wurrung Point and he frustratingly spotted a number of very large (2-3kg) rainbows and chinooks in tight on the bank in very shallow water who weren't interested in his offerings. We did not see or speak with any other anglers who were successful.
