Right on Mick, kids that get a good start and encouragement from their Dad like Michael has have the world in front of them.

To find a fish
You do the miles.
Catch the fish
and earn the smiles.

Lord, allow me to catch a fish, so large that even I,when speaking of it afterwards.........May have no need to lie !!!

I didn't forget you 2 trouble makers, I just decided to not pick you up :haha2:

Do you 2 know anything about all the giant "vote 1 Steph" posters that have gone missing off farmer's fences over euroa way? They would like them back.
That was Dave! He was annoyed cos I got her signs that were on the Tat-Murch road near 'Spot X'! I think that is why so many people go to 'Spot X'.

First of all, thanks to drewbie for organising another event. Some people have no idea of the logistical nightmare that drewbie faces to get one of these events off the ground…the countless pointless pms, people suggesting different locations, blah, blah blah! Drewbie needs a counselling session after each ‘get together’! It is rumoured that he was muttering something about “death to all cats” in his sleep.

It was a great time we had. My arrival was marred by what I thought was an imminent car problems so I decided to stay on site rather than travelling around the area. By the time I arrived Dave had sussed out the fishing conditions…yellas were on the go off the bank. Fisher peoples already present had a fair share of the bank covered with their rods that were left in overnight unattended. All I know is they were moved at some point…I can’t confirm it but I was told that somebody (to protect the identity of the member we shall refer to him as the person who organised this trip) made an ‘amphibious assault’ with his boat and landed on the shoreline between/over/on/through their rods.

It was good to just go down to ‘Club Yella’ and pull out a decent fish. Unfortunately word got out then we had poachers to deal with. They can be seen below trying to figure out what they had in their net…what is it…it looks like a fish!

No doubt there will be future events (as long as drewbie doesn’t get inducted into an institution) and members should consider going…regardless of the fishing location/style. It is worth it!
Cheers
Jim
