Well another Memorable Meet with a great bunch of people. Some are still there Lucky Ba$tards while the rest of us have to get ready for work tomorrow  It was another excellent trip and everyone caught fish including Rod Bender who not only broke his donut run but SMASHED IT OUT OF THE WATER :a_goodjob: :nicefish!: The weather gods were on our side apart from when the moment the instant pop-up-tent needed to be put up on friday arvo & turned out to be a 3 hour epic battle(A bit like Drews reddie battle but with less beer  )
The best place for the Yellas turned out to be right in front of camp. They were all around the 40cm mark and plenty were caught with a few small reddies as well. My little bloke Michael crossed of another first with his first yellowbelly a cracking 41cm:) They were taking worms & yabbies & dave also managed one on a soft plastic last night. If anyone is looking to catch a yellowbelly at this moment then this is the place to fish.

It was another top trip with the regular crew along :a_goodjob: and it's still going on with Bender and Brett and his family still there and hopefully still getting amongst them.

Sadly i was out fished by my trusty deckie davo from the start, so there's a spot on my boat available for the next trip

No kitty's i didn't forget you,i just remembered not to pick you up :-D

I'm a bit disappointed about some of the comment's on here :???: What's wrong with my landing net :dontknow it landed these for davo

You see Drew, A good deckie catches the moments ;) cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Hmmm I think your bait choice is questionable drew. I was doing alright until I started using the bait you left us.

My guess is he was going a bit hard or ran off the road in the the fog, boat wasn't big enough to drag a cruiser that size over no matter what failed on the trailer.Hopefully no one was hurt.Passed the cops just south of 'doon heading that way.

Be interesting to know if it was there when barra mick left or not.
Yeah it just happened as I went past...he was collecting his fishing tackle of the road...he was ok....didnt really have a answer what happened.

Fished the ford arm all day today, 5 more browns ( around the 2pd mark) on tassie devils and 3 yellows on yabbies ..the trout were in great nick like the ones caught at bonnie doon.

all the trout had black beatles in the stomachs

Cheers bm
