I use bread crumbs and sardine oil for Burley -- I just buy a cheap no name can of sardines in oil drain the oil into a container and put some bread crumbs in and mix you dont want it to wet with the oil
just a pinch at a time on the water will drag them up in the strike zone

for a rig a no 10 or 12 long shank hook under a pencil float and you wont just enough weight to have just the tip of the float out of the water
you may have to adjust the depth your bait is under the float

bait - magots - small pieces of prawn - silver fish

your rod weight will be fine by the way
My kayak PBs
Gummy shark 128 Cm - Elephant fish 85 Cm - Snapper 91 Cm - KG Whiting 49 Cm - Flathead 55 Cm - Garfish 47 Cm - Silver Trevally 40 Cm - Long Tail Tuna 86 Cm - snook 64 Cm - Couta 71 Cm - Sth Calamari 44 Cm hood - Cobia 117 cm

you can use something similar to this set up. You may make variations like the hooks are of the same level but separated by a flexible plastic to avoid tangles. Use small hooks like size 12. Chicken, maggots and silverfish are excellent for gars.

I personally think the drawing below will result to tangles if a gar was hooked by the top dropper.

A single hook setup with small split sinker will avoid tangles.

/\ thanks man, if thats was for me im not really interested in where i can catch garfish

im interested in the particular pier thats in the video cause ive never seen it before and i like to go down to the local piers and spend some time chilling, and taking some pics etc and it looks like a very calm area so was just wondering where it was cause its one of the ones ive never been to
PM is fine if you dont want to give away the spot for obvious reasons
cheers
