Soft Plastics and PPB LB

Post by passport1980 » Tue Feb 17, 2015 11:19 am

was wanting to try some SPs in PPB. I was thinking around Port Melbourne piers may be good. Does anyone have any advice on where I might try first? Perhaps Brighton or Lagoon Pier, Kerford Pier maybe??? Surely there are some nice pinkies cruising around the pylons??

Thanks folks. I am now unemployed and have plenty of time on my hands

I've sighted plenty of bream around the piers in williamstown (gem, ferguson). Only tried for them the once though but picked a bad time. Need to hit it on the high else it's pretty shallow. Might be worth checking out if you're looking to kill some time

There some some good threads on bream fishing with SPs around the Docklands area in the CBD fishing reports section.

What species are you targeting? I had good success on turtleback worm and grubs around cstching flatty, salmon, pinkie snapper, etc. around the bay landbase fishing.
