crazy wind

Post by fisho999 » Tue Mar 08, 2022 6:56 pm

went out to the channel at Shepperton hoping to hook up on a carp.
wind was crazy and it was cold, armed with 3 hand lines and a rod. basic rig on the hand lines but a little crank bait on the rod. :wt:

didn't catch any thing but had to leave because of the wind :o_0: . good times though. saw some reddies :ft: last time that's why I used some crank baits.

tight lines,

Yep, thought I was going out for some calm weather in Westerport yesterday. We ended up pounding through the waves because if you went too slow the spray ended up drenching you. Was just about jumping from wave to wave in my old Swiftcraft Seagull. Seems no matter what the forecast says, whenever I've gone out it's been choppy and windy. Glad to see I'm not the only one been experiencing it, thought I was doing something wrong.

April is supposed to be the calmest month of the year so hopefully we get a break.
