fishing session in the rain

Post by fisho999 » Sat Mar 05, 2022 5:14 pm

hey,
went down to the honey suckle creek to do some fishing as its on my property.so i went down armed with my 7 foot spinning rod and some lures, the lure of the day being a medium jjs stump jumper that is green. started walking and of course it rains. it was nice though and didn't get any cod or yellas but did see 2 turtles. Also got some nice booffs but didn't yield any cod :ft:

might go back. Had to leave because of the rain but a good time. :gj:

tight lines,

Rain on the water surface a natural thing for fish - Rain on fisherman, not so much.
Had some exception fly fishing at Lake Eucumbene during light rain.
Always got away from water during thunder storms with lighting strikes.

When your graphite rod starts to zap you, packup! And go home.
