Here was a nice pick up from the beach, on sunset. Approx 40cm this was pretty much a fluke, no one else was catching was really after a bream but this will do nicely.

Went out for a couple of hours yesterday while everyone else was chasing the
Snapper i had a crack at flicking some plastics around for the flatties.

Ended up with only a couple of keepers but this one was worth the pic.

True mate, I was a little on the stoked side for sure.

I caught it off Mt Martha in around 9 meters.

That came out of PPB? I've never seen one that big in these waters!

Yeah mate, I've caught a few around the 50 cm mark in PPB.
All on plastics. Over the past couple of weeks i have caught some really healthy looking Flatties.

Hi mate is that a dusky, the light spots on the head behind the eyes sort of indicate it might be.

I'm not 100% sure to be honest. I checked my legal size sticker and the pictures are difficult to make out.

I think it might be but they do look very similar.

Just so you know the regs have recently changed for duskys and you can no longer keep them over 55cm.
