get a 4000 Penn Spinfisher VI imo, or one of the old school Slammers

any advice for a rod to go with it? i have a rod I can use with the reel, but I have an Alvey on it. I'm thinking of one in the 9-10 foot range for bait.

i have decided on getting the Nasci 5000 instead of the 4000.
