You should be able to catch them on grub or worm plastics, right?
Maybe even small vibes or small sinking stick style hardbodies.

My Pb from ppb stands at 49cm caught in the Lonsdale bight about 8 years ago

Yep, I've had limited success so far. Just need to find them first
