Lowrance sounder query

Gday lads, was wondering if anyone Could share thoughts on this. Had a sound around Carrum few weeks back and saw this on the sounder. Totally barren all around it. I thought it was bait fish with snap’s underneath and behind it. I sat there for a while and just got a couple of undersized flatties. No hits at all. Tried shifting and reanchoring few times but no joy. Are these snaps but just not feeding? Always trying to learn and interested in fellow anglers opinions.

I'd say yes, they're fish. They didn't hit so they're not feeding. Finding them is one thing, get them to eat and bite is another story.

Snapper are the red arches sitting inside the bait school which is the big yellow patch. Also visible is the small structure/reef right above the 20m marking, which is what's holding them all there, hope you marked that spot.
They are not biting because they are more than likely feeding on those bait.

Thanks Lads!

I thought as much with the snaps and baitfish but wasn't sure about the structure so thanks for that.

I did mark that spot and will definately give it a gander when I'm down there next. I'm actually gonna go out tonight at dusk so I'll let you know how I go.
