Restriction for outdoor activities now 4 hours, but curfew remains.....big queue at the ramp between 5.00-5.30am this weekend then!
how could anyone police the 4 hour rule though?

You could be out all day and night and say you just got there if pulled over, right?
The water police has lie detectors onboard, you'll be rigged up to a polygraph machine if you get approached. :te:

I'll get a $5,452 fine on my way to ramp at 4.30am because I'm breaching curfew by 30 minutes,
get another $5,452 fine for drifting past my 10km radius limit,
and finish the day with another $5,452 parking fine waiting on my windscreen for breaching the 4 hour limit when I get back in.

From what I've heard, the police are just as fed up with with restrictions as everyone else & if you're polite and put a good case forward they'll look the other way. Plus Saturday they'll all be at the protest in the city :tu:

Yeahh! All leaders and rigs were re-tied, reels were re-spooled, and rods were double-checked.

I picked up a couple of squid without too much trouble but had no takers drifting them around the shipping channel near Point Henry. Scored a pike as a consolation prize.

Has anyone heard any reports of snapper at the top of the bay yet?
Thinking about starting the hunt this weekend with an early morning session around Williamstown or Ricketts.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
