Got to give a red rocket a pretty thorough workout before it goes mushy and soft from what I've heard

Lol they look like white bait fishes. I've used these before and got flattys but never hooked a pinkie with it yet. Dirt cheap to buy at the market and they're tough as nails so will last ages. Years ago I was free drifting them at the warmies in Newport when the pumps on and was smashing the Bream, trevalys, salmon and tailor. Was awsome fun on light tackle.

Used them years ago, and if my memory serves me well that sounds about right Dazz. The skin was ok, but the flesh was soft. I only ever used them whole with a pair of 6/0’s through them, and they seemed to hold together ok in WP current.
