Save your pennies Mr Welch

Restricted
A restricted licence is required by any person over the age of 12, but under the age of 16, who is operating a powered recreational vessel.

Holders of a restricted marine licence may act as master of a recreational vessel only if:

operating during daylight hours between sunrise and sunset;
operating at speeds of less than 10 knots; and
not operating a vessel that is towing a person, another vessel or object.
Once a restricted master turns 16 years old, the restricted marine licence automatically becomes a marine licence.
I’m hoping that when I turn 16 I’ll get my l plates and my own full marine licence as well as a boat and a car I’ve got another 2 years to save so should be good👍

Great catch. The snapper here at Lakes Entrance still haven't made a mass appearance. Two trips for two fish so far. Couple of flatties and a gummy. The lake is better the KGW just keep giving. I have a total from October to yesterday of 60 KGWs and a similar amount of silver/school whiting.
There's nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . half so much worth doing as simply messing around in boats.

Should have been here late October, almost always by melb cup weekend. Charter boats aren't getting them with any consistency. So late arrivals this year

Water temp is still a bit low at 17* and it's not in any hurry to warm up either .
Pretty much what you would expect for
la nina weather conditions .
