Hi Guys,
Just another quick report on the snapper.
My friend and I launched yesterday from st kilda and was on the water at around 6 pm.
We arrived at our spot and put the burley pot down and had our baits in the water and sat back and had dinner first and shortly after the bites started.
First to come on board was a nice pinky measuring 38 Cm.
We had 3 rods set up for bigger fish with a twin 5/0 setup with either a fresh squid strip or head and 1 small setup, a simple paternoster with 2/0 hooks with pillies/squid on each hook.
There were many undersize pinkies in amongst them but some nice chunky pinkies as well. I lost one decent fish but we ended up with a 35, 37, 38, 41 and one snapper measuring 58 Cm.
Was only a short session. The wind changed to a NE at around 9 so we pulled the pin and left.
When we got back to the ramp we noticed that some nice fish had been caught from the frames that were left on the ramp.
Cheers,
LX.

Re: 9/11/2020
Thanks mate.
Funny thing is, me and my mate were both talking about this when we got back to the ramp. There is a bin right there behind the cleaning station but whoever caught those fish must have decided to just dump them there on the ramp. Maybe he’s trying to make a point? Who knows. It’s not the first time I’ve seen this either! There were a few big frames the last time I came back as well.
Cheers
