More baby reds came to play..

Post by purple5ive » Sat Nov 30, 2019 3:59 pm

Had a quickie on Friday after work.
It was game on from the minute the first cast was made.

Many jigheads were molested in the process..

Ended up with 17 ranging between 29 and 44cm between 3 of us.

Having a rest today cooking up the biggie from.last week

The motorguide is still buggered so I couldn't anchor on some better fish. But we still did ok.

Cheers

I wouldn't call them reds mate, more like mini reds hahah. I'd rather catch these anyday on lures than the bigger fish on bait which is a lot harder to do in my boat.

yep, on the BBQ the smaller fish tasted a lot better than the big one, even after they were all prepared the same way.

100%. The big ones go dry. Ideal eating size imo is around 40cm..
