Re: 2019 snapper season
Not a great start IMO. I've only hooked up to a couple and have put a lot of hours in.

Re: 2019 snapper season
Agreed. Fished frankston 15m 2 nights ago at 16.0c. Sat on good fish for stuff all. hopefully these last couple of days bumps it up and fires up the season.
So much bloody bait around too. Bodes well for future seasons. But I reckon the sheer availability of food would be affecting bite windows too.

Still not on the board from the shore :-/
So many boats out at black rock last night! Counted 28 clustered together at sunset. Any reports?

When I’m out that way, there’s always plenty of boats out there. It’s a very popular spot.

Re: 2019 snapper season
What I have found In my experience over a life time of fishing both bays is for the temperature to rise significantly it needs a succession of high temp days over a week or two to show any significance. The weather we have at present is too spasmodic with extremes at either end cold and hot with no continuity for either.Mattblack wrote: ↑Fri Nov 22, 2019 11:01 amI thought temps might have been slightly higher after yesterday....fingers crossed for the weekend!hornet wrote: ↑Fri Nov 22, 2019 10:55 amhttps://www.seatemperature.org/australi ... hillip.htm
