Been out a few times with a few pinkys to my name. Yet to land one above 40 which is terrible given its nearly the end of nov hahaha

Went out yesterday prior to the front hitting. Legit couldn't sound a fish from 16m mordy all the way to rickets marine park. Found a few fish in the second half of the morning. Mostly on plastics and soft vibes with 8 or so keepers from probably 40 fish. Had a bait annihilated and tried to get the young fella onto his first proper red but he has developed an annoying habit of pointing the rod at the fish he is fighting. On a change of direction the red got slack line and was lost. Hopefully can break the habit on him shortly lol. He has dropped a couple recently this way.

Took dad out for a fish yesterday, which also happened to be my birthday. We had a ball and caught some awesome fish with both of us bagging out
The big fish was caught by dad. 71cm . Ive been waiting a long time to put him onto a fish like tbT and it finally happened yesterday..
We got bitten off a few times and had leader knots pop a few times too, was a great day out..

Bagged out last trip, released about 5 fish that were around 50plus cm as well after we got our bag.
Been fishing bait this season as it's easier to get newbies onto a fish than try with plastics. It's awesome to watch the rod take off with a screaming run, makes it even more fun landing them on 2-4kg rods and 2500 sized reels.
Cheers
