Anaconda is coming...

Post by April Fool » Fri Oct 19, 2018 9:29 am

...to Shepparton! So what should we expect? I have been to a couple Anaconda stores but can't remember much about them. What is their fishing gear like (high to low end etc.) and how are they priced?

Can I expect much difference from the choices I have now which are BCF (I don't buy much stuff from there), a local Compleat Angler as well as Trelly's Outdoor/Tackleworld (depends on who you talk to as to what their name is)?
cheers

Their lure selection is a lot better than the junk BCF sells. everything else is a much of a muchness.
they dont have much boating stuff though and their camping section is a lot better than bcf.

I often buy fishing gear from anaconda. Just the other day bought a Berkely digital scale.
Great selection of lures and plastics

They seem to have better discounts during sales over everyone else

A new Anaconda opened in Epping a few weeks ago and had some great deals. It reminds me of how Rays was a few years ago before they changed it. For me it's ok has enough range and pretty good prices and also some competition for BCF who have dropped the ball a little bit. Unfortunately there aren't many options for us in the northern suburbs since Northern camping & fishing closed and I'm hoping an independent will open out this way again they would definately get my business before the chain stores.

Get in early "fool" and you can write reports for them, ;-) It's good that they are opening in Shepp, I've been a member for a while but never been to a store, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them
