Hope the power station will be working for you next Monday Jase :)
It not about power station, hope there is some local and new arrive snapper enter yarra. There mullet and pilchard in the river already, power station is add bonus
It's not impossible to catch them day time but you need to fish sunset for the best chance of catching the bigger species landbased.
The Mulloway, jewies aka hard to catch fish aka self-fisho secret
Especially mulloway, usually they feed at night during slack tide.
Pick a new moon and high tide an hour or two after sunset for the best chance of getting big fish landbased.

Ah I see. I'm assuming you're under 18?
Well, I've seen people caught big snapper around 3-6pm, so there's possibility. You just gotta be at the right place and at the right time.
Sunrise is still better that mid day, so try to sneak out and fish like 5am.

If after dark is too late and you don’t want to get in trouble with your parents then try an early morning session Jase.
I’ve had some awesome sessions from like 4-7am as well :tu:
