what jigheads do you use with the fish arrows?
There is always more to learn , fish to catch , places to see and friends to make.

My answer to the question depends on if it’s an unlimited packet of plastics or just a single packet.

Unlimited would be a gulp turtleback worm in pumpkinseed. Catches everything. But you can go through a packet in an hour easily at times. I’d also consider a 4” keitech easy shiner in silver flash minnow. Probably my fav plastic of all time.

Single packet would be something from the zman stables because they just last forever. Probably be a 2.5” grub or a small paddle tail. But honestly I’ve used stuff all zmans in my time. They’ve always annoyed me. But they would prove to be a lifesaver in this type of thing.

Has anyone ever tried fish arrow? There's paddle tail and split tail. It looks good.
Between the 4” and 5” they’ve accounted for all my big trout and reddies on plastic. 1/4oz 2/0 on the 4” and 3/8oz 5/0 on the 5”

Nb: fishing lakes where distance is king. Cast out and straight retrieve.

The perfect size is the 4.5” imo. A nice big tail for its size. Vs the 4” which is quite small.
