mosquito hooks for trout
hey all,
I go trout fishing and I usually gut hook the trout, so they usually die when I try to release them. would some owner mosquito hooks solve that problem?

Re: mosquito hooks for trout
If trout is gut hooked, and you try to remove the hook, your chances of the trout surviving are very slim. If you intend to release it, cut the line as close to the hook as possible. Use steel hooks as they disolve in time - Do not use stainless steel hooks. Hook size and design does not matter much if you do this.
