$50 on braid. That's your bog standard jbraid/powerpro/fins pricing there. Nothing special about that. Hell I 3/4 spooled a Gosa with a top spec braid and got next to no change out of $100 at mates rates for braid alone.
$27 for fluro. Brand dependant you're not getting 50m for much less anywhere.
The glue is where you got jibbed. Its unnecessary if you're even half decent with tying knots

Still don't know what a leader line is.
Does it include the rig (bait fishing)? or is it separate ie three distinct parts main, leader and rig?
I guess both right. if using soft plastics you tie directly to leader. Right?

WTF is UV glue?
Some flexible cement glue applied to the braid leader join that cures under sun or UV light.

Yes.
The braid is your main line. Anything after that is your leader (fluorocarbon then to lure, or rig, or three parts as you mentioned).

Sounds about right. Except the UV thing. Never heard of that.

You got ripped off on the glue lol
Even if they sold you an entire tube of it it’s completely unnecessary. Some people use a little super glue on the tag on of their knots but that’s just bog standard glue from Bunnings that might set you back $2 at most.

That price for the leader is around the mark depending on what brand it was. Ditto with the braid.

Fishing is expensive.

Cheapest way to fill reels with braid I know of is to buy the 3km bulk spools and do it yourself. Dinga used to flog bulk spools of Rovex D8 which I’ve never had any issues with personally.

Cheapest fluro leader is the bulk spools of Berkeley Vanish, you can get them from the big snake. It’s probably not the greatest, but I’ve never had any major issues with it. Otherwise just use mono which is much cheaper and depending on who you ask, just as effective.
